We are responsible for licensing premises in the Borough that are involved in gambling.
It is important to stress that it does not show where problem gambling or other gambling related issues occur. We have also developed our local area profile which identifies the types of people that are at risk of being vulnerable to gambling-related harm, where they are in Elmbridge, and any current or emerging problems that may increase that risk. We published our revised policy on 4 December 2020 and it has effect from 1 January 2021 until 31 December 2023.
Our policy plays a vital role in managing the risk of gambling-related harm in Elmbridge and to regulate gambling activity to lessen the risk of such harm.
